CRSI Honours Program
The Department of Human Geography offers Honours programs leading to a number of degrees depending on your background and first degree: BA (Hons), BSc(Hons), BSocSc(Hons) and BEnvMgt(Hons).
The honours program is a fourth undergraduate year, which gives you a valuable additional qualification that may help you find employment, and opens the way for post graduate research in the future. Although no special prerequisites are required for honours, entry into the program is based on your grade point average.
Before starting honours we strongly recommend you discuss the matter with the Honours Convenor and lecturers in your area of interest. Sometimes your interest can span more than one department, in which case you can be co-supervised by lecturers from other departments. Sometimes it is not possible to provide supervision for a particular topic so, in this case, you would need to change or adapt your proposal if you want to proceed.
